Visit to UTP

I explored the campus of Petronas University of Technology quite some time ago. And it is a fascinating place! Well I shall let the pictures do the talking as I am anticipating exhausted right now.

I'm officially resigning from adulthood

I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8-year-old again.

  • I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four-star restaurant.
  • I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make ripples with rocks.
  • I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them.
  • I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot sunny day.
  • I want to find back the taste of strawberries as a child; they don't seem to be the same anymore.
  • I want to spin around and around like a whipping top, till I drop and heaven turns all around me, without anyone looking at me as if I have lost my marbles.
  • I want to play with my marbles again and remember all the complicated rules you had created as a kid for playing with coins, marbles... (And the feeling when you won new ones).
  • I want to dance and jump naked again in the garden during rainy day, completely unconscious of my body as such, just feeling great.
  • I want to eat chocolate and ice cream and hamburgers again, without any form of bad conscience.
  • I want to shout again when I am angry, cry when I am sad and laugh out loud, with my mouth full of food, not even thinking to restrain myself, because I don't care what others might think of me.
  • I want to return to a time when life was simple. When all you knew were colours, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't know and you didn't care.
  • All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.
  • I want to think the world is fair.
  • That everyone is honest and good.
  • I want to believe that anything is possible.
  • I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.
  • I want to live simple again.
  • I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of workloads, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones.
  • I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.

So... I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as a 20-year-old kid.

And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first, 'cause, "TAG! YOU'RE IT!!!"

to Puan Hee Yit Foong!!!

Hello Puan,

I understand you are OK but I can not feel what you are feeling now. Being a traitor in Chinese means you will be a shame for what you have done in times to come.

Why after 22 years in DAP, you choose to turn back the wisdom you have held for all these long years? Why? Money?

Woman, money can not buy you respect, it has to be earned. The picture of you talking to Perak Sultan is clearly a statement that you know what you are doing. People elected you yet you jump ship for whatever reasons, and you have your last chance when you are facing the Perak Sultan. If you are under pressure or threaten from someone, you have the chance to tell the Perak Sultan to save yourself. But I don't think so by looking at the picture.

By next week when all things are settled down, you will not be the same person anymore. All your life will be different because of: you have let down those people who voted for you.

Democracy die today, no?

God has bestowed a wonderful punishment on Perak PR by ending the authoritarian ways of Ngeh-Nga of pulling the strings from behind with Nizar as the puppet.

Dear PR supporters, don't be sore losers!!! It's well known the previous PR government was not well liked by Perakians nowadays. Perak PR will even lose when the state assembly is dissolved.

You won 308 because of the protest votes NOT because you are strong. Pak Lah is deemed week and many Malays deserted him... BUT with a charismatic leader like Najib is back on the helm, the ship will keep on sailing with the legitimate old Alliance logo on the sail flaps gloriously.

You reap what you sow Mr. Anwar Ibrahim the great actor, deceiver, liar and sweet-talker, You're the one who started all this crossover issue. Have people forgotten all about his antics? "Bak kata Pepatah Melayu, Siapa yang makan cili, dialah yang terasa pedas."

Padan Muka!!!

Wait a minute; BN didn't even pinch the assemblymen from PR… So there's no "party hopping" involved technically.

Ha the irony and I had my best laughs of the year.

Tick Tock

The clock ticks. Repetitively. Obsessively. Jarringly.

The silent night amplifies the slow rhythmic tock tock.

Each one signifying a second gone. Life spent. Days ending. Time moving.

Each one a tick and a tock closer to death.

Paula Abdul: “I inspired Beyonce & Rihanna”

Okay, after I stopped laughing and picked myself off the floor, I just had to blog about this…

American Idol judge, Paula Abdul says she’s the inspiration for pop stars like Rihanna and Beyonce!

“My videos stand the test of time. They are like the almanac for every performer. Even Rihanna has come up to me and said: ‘I hope you don’t mind.’ And Beyonce, you can see the influence of what I’ve done. It’s really fun to see that I’ve left a mark. It was my idea to create an animated character. It takes a lot of focus, a lot of time and a lot of money,” Paula said in an interview.

Hello… can someone please pass this aunty a reality pill!
"Do you feel my inspiration?" zZZz
