Today my classmates actually used a music video entitled 'Beautiful' by Christina Aguilera for their presentation. It's awesome! This music video showcases a few stereotypes (For example, the perception of beauty) and discrimination.
But all this is done without any speaking. Hence, this music video shows that communication is not through verbal means only, and how the director uses perceptions to deliver the messages across to the audience.
Additionally, this music video also showing how different people have perceptions and how these perceptions will influence how the messages are being understood. Enjoy!
